Mrs. Usha Ram did her M.A (English), B.Ed., PG Degree in English Literature and a PGCTE from the prestigious CIEFL, Hyderabad, MA (Management Trainee) from NIEPA. She is presently pursuing her Ph.D. in English Literature.

Career

Mrs. Usha Ram started her career as an English Teacher in 1974 from the Bhartiya Vidya Bhawan, New Delhi where her dedication was acknowledged and she was appointed as Academic Supervisor and afterwards Vice-Principal till 1986. In the year 1987, she became founder Principal of Sadhu Vaswani International School for Girls, Shanti Niketan, New Delhi with just one student. She brought it to the level of Senior Secondary School (10+2 level) and with a total strength of 1700 students in the span of 6 years.

Career

Being the founder Principal, she had successfully faced all the teething problems of an upcoming new school. This school is now rated as one of the best in South Delhi.

After 1993, she was appointed Principal of Laxman Public School which is run by the renowned management of Laxman Sylvania Group of Industries, who are the trustees of the school. The school has gained the reputation as the leading educational institution by virtue of survey conducted by various organizations and has been ranked as one of the best 10 schools of Delhi and NCR. Presently, by her inherent qualities, she has been selected as Chairperson of the organization called National Progressive School’ Conference having more than 120 reputed schools from all over India and she has also been appointed as Director Institute of Higher Studies, Laxman Cricket Academy, Laxman Tennis Academy, Skyline Business School and many more prestigious organizations.
