Laxman Public School celebrated the 61^st Republic Day with full enthusiasm on the 25^th January, The momentous occasion started with a song – ‘Taakat Vatan Ki Hamse Hai’, followed by a dance on the patriotic song – ‘Bharat Vande Matram.’ The Junior school children presented a skit titled ‘Smart Class’ and talked about our great freedom fighters. The event culminated with a skit by the senior school children, titled ‘Hindustan Jaag Raha Hai’. The cultural event was followed by a prize distribution ceremony. The main theme of the even laid emphasis on the need for us, the citizens of India, to realise the responsibility on our shoulders. Instead of just complaining about the ills that have played our nation, we must try and find solutions to our problems.
