Laxman Public School, as the head school of the cluster “The Confluence”, recently concluded the three year UKIERI project along with five other member schools of the cluster. As part of the programme a team of nine teacher from UK – Bristol schools were on a visit from April 6 to 13. Mrs. Usha Ram, the Cluster head welcomed them all.
 
 
 
 
 

UKIERI (Bristol Visitor) - Laxman Public SchoolThe visitors inspected the children’s project over the year. These projects included e-waste, biodiversity, tree plantation drivers, renewable sources of energy, genetically modified food and global warming.

The visiting teachers interacted with students. The school also held a special assembly in honour of guests on Baisakhi Day. Mrs. Usha Ram mentioned the importance of the environmental projects taken under UKIERI. The assembly focused on global warming and Baisakhi. Children had a gala time watching teachers from Bristol joining the revelry and breaking into a jig.
