  • How do you think LPS has contributed to your success? I was in class XI when I discovered that I could act. Before that the only extra curricular activity I was involved in was dance. I had no clue that I could act. I would be forever grateful to my alma mater for giving me an opportunity to discover the best in me.
  • What is the one thing that you miss about school? My friends, the canteen and my theater group. I think that I miss every little thing about school.
  • Rate in the order of importance: Power, Fame, Money. I don't think any of these is important to me. I think it is finding the right thing to do in life. I am especially speaking on behalf of all creative people. If you are passionate about your work, everything else will follow. So your work should be the most important thing.

  • What makes one a good actor? It is honesty, I guess. You have to be honest and be in touch with your feelings and then when you get an opportunity to act out certain situations, use your personal experiences as your resources to draw your inspiration from.
  • What is your style statement? Be comfortable the way you are.
  • Can you recount the euphoria you felt when you signed for your first show? I went crazy. I treated myself with an ice cream and I went back home. There was no one there. Since I was alone, I jumped around and celebrated.
  • Do you miss Delhi? A lot! Especially in winters!
  • Where do you see yourself ten years from now? I don't know where but wherever I may be I would be still acting. That is for sure.
  • Any new projects on the card at the moment? I am doing 'Jyoti' for NDTV Imagine and I am also working on a show called 'Shaurya Aur Suhaani' for Star Plus which is not on air as yet.
  • What would be your next move? Frankly speaking, I haven't given it a thought. I think I will remain an unplanned person for my entire life, I guess.
