Laxman Public School Laxman Public School

I have been slightly busy and seem to have missed replying your mail earlier. Here are my responses:

  • One thing that I miss about the school the most: It would have to be the innocence of those days. Life seemed a lot simpler then and going to school was a fun filled experience. Right from waiting for your school bus in the morning so you could jump in and meet your class mates and friends to reaching the school to getting on with the business of study was such a joy. Another thing I miss the most is the caring and loving environment that the school has and the constant emphasis on reaching ones potential through being true to oneself. Needless to say, I miss friends and teachers from my days at LPS terribly.

  • What has been Laxman Public School's contribution to what I am today: I think the school gave not just me, but all others, an excellent grounding in living a life with high values. Seeing the school grow from small tents to one of the best known and most well-equipped educational institutions over the years gives one a sense of pride and belief that great things could be achieved in ones life if one adopted a 'can-do attitude' and approached life with a sense of purpose, positivity and high ethical code.
  • The most memorable moment of my school life: It is hard to highlight one specific occasion that stands out in terms of being the most memorable one. But what remains in memory till this day is the feeling of elation I experienced walking out of the classrooms after finishing the exams a nd hanging out in the play field discussing how our performance has been. Then we would proceed to play 'hand-cricket' without a care in the world is definitely an image that seems to stick out. It felt like it didn't matter how our individual papers went or how the upcoming tests would go. All that seemed to matter was whether we managed to score good runs for our teams hitting a plastic or a tennis ball out of the field for a six!
